How to burst the writer’s block bubble

Unfortunately, writer's block is all too well known to every writer, and it will always hit at some point, so here are five tips on how to overcome those two dreaded words!

Reading more and other texts can give you inspiration that will help fuel your own writing, don't worry if you don't read to much, it's just for inspiration!

Write more!

Write more, even if it's terrible, because you can always fix it later, and you may come up with a great idea anyway, that you hadn't thought of before.

Focus on one character!

Focus on one character can help you come up with parts of your story that then lead to those tricky parts you can't quite get, and if you focus on one character at a time your writing will ultimately be better.

Create a writing plan!

Creating a writing plan, and mapping things out before you do it gives you a simple structure to follow on from, making it easier to follow and write your story.

Take a break!

Don't forget to take a break, sometimes coming away from your writing makes it easier to get it right later. Go outside or have something to eat and then come back and try again later.
